Five-Finger Retell Poster + Worksheet

Today’s Wednesday, and that means it’s one day closer to being break for me. And for the rest of you, only three more days ’til the weekend!

Today’s post offers you another classroom resource that I created. This one focuses on the “five-finger retell” strategy. The download includes a poster that can be used as reference during the reading lesson, as well as a worksheet for students to fill out to put their thoughts down on paper.

Five-Finger Retell

You can download this on my TpT store; notice my new TeachersPayTeachers “widget” on the right-hand side of the page! I was overly excited to figure out how to add this link to my blog. (Seriously, spastic behavior…) Click on the link to check out the other products I’ve uploaded!

If you don’t want to download it on TpT but wish to use it, let me know in the comments and I can send you a PDF copy.

**Update: You can download it here:Five-Finger Retell

Again – I appreciate your feedback! Have a great rest of your week.

  2. I love what you have created! I’m working on my ESL endorsement and was working on an assessment assignment for one of my classes. I used your Five-Finger downloads for my assignment. I will definitely use that model in my classroom! Thank you so much!

  4. I would love to have a PDF of this retelling information. The link to your store does not go to the retelling documents.

    Thanks,
